Engage was recently commissioned by A1 Events to deliver a simulated green-screen driving experience for Skoda. Created for the unveiling of Skoda’s Octavia vRS at the Goodwood Festival, the installation gave attendees the opportunity to star in their own Skoda Octavia vRS advert.
The installation was manned by a host who invited participants to position themselves on green-screen seats and place their hands on a steering wheel. Using an iPad as a control panel, the host then recorded a number of scenes, which were edited and combined with other pre-recorded footage to make a full-length, highly professional TV advert, later uploaded to YouTube.
